mainman Bimble has
put together a 3 hour tribute to Joe Strummer for his Brighton pirate radio
show on Radio4A 101.4FM. Featuring
interviews and anecdotes from some of Joes closest friends such as Julian
Yewdall (ex 101ers),Barry 'D.J Scratchy' Myers (Clash & Mescaleros tour DJ),
Tymon Dogg (Ex-Mescalero and Clash collaborator)), Chris Salewicz (Ex NME
Journo, whose writing Joes official biography), and David Mingay (director
of Clash movie 'Rude Boy). Also included in the show is music from throughout
Joes long career (including many rare live versions) and archive words from
the man himself. This show becomes a very personal insight into the life of
the man know to some as John, some as Woody but to everyone as Joe. The
show comes in three parts and all are now available for free download over
@ the excellent www.gigvideo.co.uk
